I know we are just getting to know each other, but there are those of you out there who know me pretty well. In any case, I would define my style as classic chic but I have been known to switch it up from time to time and this is one of those times. I bought my first pair of…wait for it… ripped jeans! I bet you were not expecting that were you? and I am sure there are those of you out there who found that so anti-climactic and that is OK. In any case, it is a big deal to me for a couple of reasons. 1. Last time I had a pair of ripped jeans was when I was a wee lass rough housing with my friends and in the process damaged my jeans. 2. I vowed a long time ago never to spend my hard earned money on tattered clothes. Now that I am off my soap box, I will continue with this rather short, anticlimactic tale. Another fun fact about me is that I am a high street/main street shopper and while I will invest in key designer pieces, I love to get nice articles of clothing at a steal and so it was with my new jeans. My jeans are from Old Navy and cost me a whopping $0.97! It was a serendipitous find indeed and at such a ridiculous price, I figured “why not?”
I know what you are thinking – “there are a million and one ladies out there styling their ripped jeans” and you would be right but indulge me a little and tell me what you think. You can even share how you style your ripped jeans. Thanks for stopping by!
Keeping it simply stylish,
Abi
For some reason I have an obsession with tattered clothing…Jeans, shirts 🤦🏾♀️ #issaThing congrats on your first purchase, they look great on you.
Thanks PJ. As you can see, it does not take much to get me excited 😂. I actually like them and I think I may get a couple more pairs 😉.
