TERMS OF SERVICE

Hello! I am so excited to have you as a style client. My goal is to deliver an outstanding styling experience to you. Please read the following terms of service carefully and contact me with any questions.

WARDROBE & STYLING:

Styling services are non-refundable.

“Service” refers to the work/effort input to meet a specific need or demand. Services include but are not limited to personal styling, virtual styling, personal shopping and any other services provided to you by A Thread of Style.

BILLING & PAYMENT:

All style service charges must be paid in full upon booking a services for a project or session. Monthly subscription services require a minimum 3 month committment.

Clothing expenses are separate and due upon booking a styling package that requires the stylist to procure clothing and accessories.

Payments can be made via electronic transfer apps including CashApp, Venmo, Stripe or Paypal (using Stripe and PayPal incurs a 4% surcharge.) Personal checks are not accepted.
My business depends on your prompt attention to invoices. I appreciate your cooperation.

CHARGES & FEES:

In the event that your session exceeds the scheduled time slot, proration becomes effective after 15 minutes. Fees are subject to change without notice. Payment for a la carte services are due in full on the day of service. Payment for a la carte products are due upon ordering.

TRAVEL & PARKING:

All travel costs are to be covered by the client at a cost of $0.57 per mile or the current prevailing rate as outlined by IRS guidelines. Travel cost will be incurred outside of a 25 mile radius of Johns Creek, GA. All travel mileage costs will be calculated using Google maps. All parking fees incurred during a style session will be charged at cost to the client.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULE POLICY:

All style services require payment in full at the time of booking unless prior payment arrangements have been made. Prepaid services can be rescheduled once within 3 months of the original booking.
Cancellations require a notice via email or phone no less than 72 hours before the scheduled session. In the event of a cancellation, the following apply:

  • Cancellations received up to 72 hours before the session will receive a 25% refund.
  • Late cancellations/No shows will not receive a refund.

RELATIONSHIP WITH STORES:

A Thread of Style is not an employee for any of the stores to which you may be introduced or accompanied for shopping. Purchase of goods are between you and the relevant store and the terms and conditions of sale and requirements regarding price, returns, defects and all other issues will be such as the store may impose or as you may agree with the store.

A Thread of Style has no liability for the quality, condition or performance of any goods which you may purchase during, or as a result of, the provision of Services by A Thread of Style.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

Where A Thread of Style provides to a client any items of clothing, shoes. and/or accessories (known as “goods”), the client is responsible for the goods until they are either paid for or returned in their original condition to A Thread of Style within 2 days of their receipt.

A Thread of Style is not liable for any loss or damage in circumstances where:

  • Deliveries of goods have been organized by stores or boutiques, and/or
  • A client mis-handles goods or damages goods purchased.
